NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR ANNEXATION
The City Council will discuss the following item at two Public Hearings at the November 7, 2017 meeting:
The City of Lufkin is considering an annexation for an area described as lying within the eastern area of the City’s Extraterritorial Jurisdiction including a portion of East Lufkin Avenue. The properties to be annexed are identified by their Appraisal District Property ID No. and a legal description: R30843, ABS 0453 MASSINGILL WM., TRACT 17, ACRES .45; R30844, ABS 0453 MASSINGILL WM., TRACT 18, ACRES .81; R30845, ABS 0453 MASSINGILL WM., TRACT 19, ACRES 1.13 (excluding the northern portion of approximately .55 acres on Tract 19).
The Hearings will be held in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 300 East Shepherd Avenue by the City Council on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. The meeting starts at 5:00 PM.
