Battalion Chief Keith Cole joined the Lufkin Fire Department in 1999. He served as Firefighter, Lieutenant and Captain in operations for the first seventeen years of his career. After his promotion to Battalion Chief he was moved to the Fire Marshal’s office to lead the departments Division of Life Safety. His duties consist of Investigator, Inspector and Public Information Officer. He is certified as a Master Firefighter and a Licensed Paramedic.
Captain Wade Modisette began his career with the Lufkin Fire Department in August 2001. He has served as a Firefighter and a Lieutenant in operations for almost 15. After his promotion to Captain, he was assigned to the Division of Life Safety where he currently serves as Deputy Fire Marshal. His duties include investigating fires, conducting life safety inspections in both residential and commercial buildings. He is responsible for the management of public fire prevention programs as well Assistant Public Information Officer. Captain Modisette is a Paramedic, Advanced Firefighter, Inspector and Fire Investigator.
