Bob Brown was sworn in at the May 15th, 2012 city council meeting as the new Mayor for the city of Lufkin. Mr. Brown defeated incumbent Jack Gorden following the May 12th, 2012 election.

The May edition of City Hall Update is now available.

 

   In the May Edition of City Hall Update we’ll talk with J.B. Smith of the Lufkin Police and get an update on the department’s programs. You'll meet Todd Quick, Lufkin's new Athletic Director and we’ll bring you all the latest information on events going on in Lufkin.

 

   City Hall Update is a short streaming video covering upcoming events, new facilities, and construction status within the City. City Hall Update is also available on SuddenLink channel  15.
